Creating a Working Nation
I've spent a good part of my career as a financial journalist, digging into the jobs numbers released each month to see not just how many jobs have been added to the economy, but the quality of those jobs. Businesses are hiring. But they are also saying that they can't find enough skilled workers for the millions of jobs still available. They are good jobs, and there are companies, industries, local governments, and private groups trying to help the under-skilled and under-educated get ready for those positions. Check out Working Nation for more on how they are getting it done. You can also read my first article as a contributor: June Jobs Report.
